A pass in GoTab is considered an external ID that can be appended to the tab. An example use case for this route would be a RFID card or wristband given to a guest. The operator can now use the pass to look up a guest's open tab and add new items to their tab from the POS. Or for example, a guest can tap a beer wall to add a new beer item to the tab.
